Photos of Cancun vacations
tend to have one
thing in common:
white sand beaches
touched by turquoise
Caribbean waters.
The most famous of
Mexico's beaches and
Cancun's longest
beach is
in the Hotel Zone,
or Tourist Zone.
This area is
isolated on an
island, stretching
across 14, white
sand miles.
Modern resorts,
hotels and
oceanfront
condominiums serve
as a nearly
uninterrupted
backdrop along this
stretch of Caribbean
coastline.
Kukulcn Boulevard
is the main access
route through the
island- a name you
will quickly become
familiar with as you
explore Cancun.
Waterfront
restaurants,
shopping, and
marinas can be found
at Laguna Nichupt, a
large freshwater
lagoon famous for
sunset photo
opportunities.
Cancun's more
popular golf courses
are also located
here, plus tours and
water sports options
are located on the 2
ends of the lagoon
that meet the ocean.
The area centered in
the middle of this
area has come to be
known as the Party
Zone; an area well
known for wild
nightlife, including
discos and
nightclubs but also
many of Cancun's
fine dining
restaurant options
and upscale
shopping.
